Winter Favorites

winter1
winter2
winter3
winter4
Here are some winter favorites. Winter in the midwest was absolutely freezing and it was difficult not to succumb to wearing fleece leggings every day. But I'm proud of figuring out that wool skirts and tights feel a lot warmer than jeans (at least for me) and introducing some color into my winter wardrobe. Again, I haven't linked back to the original posts, but feel free to leave questions in the comments. This is the last of my favorite outfit farewell tour and my last post here--thanks for sticking around for the wrap up and thank you especially for the many overwhelmingly kind comments on the goodbye post. I can't tell you how much they meant. A big and final XO.

Just popping in to let you know...GOMI covered your blog closing, and they didn't say ONE MEAN THING about it! I think that's a first. You should be proud :)

so very cute, all of them! In the part of the great white north I live in, these would be spring outfits - why do I live here, again? :D

I found your blog about a year ago and have really enjoyed stopping in from time to time. I am a newish teacher and veeeeerrrrry conservative with money I spend on clothes, so seeing your outfit posts and what pieces seem to pack a lot of mileage/cuteness/practicalness has been so helpful and enjoyable. Plus, you seem like such a lovely person. I'll miss your posts and wish you all the best.

this a bittersweet day for all who've been inspired by you, tania - most especially me! i always relished in the knowledge that we blogged in the same midwest town, and it was a true joy to get to know you even just a little bit. i wish you nothing but the best in all you do!

Good luck to you, this has been a terrific blog, I hope you do continue blogging in some form. In regards to your style and fashion sense it is terrific, very up to date without being over the top. Great season round up, so glad that spring is hear at last though! Of the pictures above I would say the second last is about closest to what I wear typically. You pull off the yellow brilliant, I would not be able to wear that I do not think. Again take care, terrific blog.

Oh Tania, I'm so glad you are providing this last glimpse of your style in sum as a final farewell. I can't tell you how much I've loved your blog; checking it has been one of my daily highlights for so long! I've learned a lot from your style and just overall grace and intelligence... so thank you :) I'll miss your blog but I know you can't keep it up until your old and grey ;) I wanted to ask for your exptertise on something... where are some of your favorite places to look for party/formal dresses? I am going to a wedding at the end of May with a fella I like a lot and I am starting to shop around now. I thought you'd be an ideal person to ask for suggestions! If you have any, please let me know. Thanks :) -Holly

Tania, I'm disappointed that I found your blog so late! After you put up your goodbye post, I read through all your old entries. I really like your style and I'm also a literature nerd and soon-to-be grad student, so I loved reading about all your experiences and book recommendations. But now that I've finished all the old entries, I miss your updates! I hope you're having a great time in DC. :) Thanks for all the inspiration!
