Viva la Spring!

I am glad to see spring arrive, even after the winter that wasn't. It's great to have bare legs, trees budding, sunshine until 7:30, dinner on the plentiful roof decks of the District of Columbia, books and drum circles in the park, long bicycle rides without mittens, yellow skirts, the return of homemade popsicle experiments in my freezer, and as many trips as I can squeeze in to the capitol to see the cherry blossoms as they're blooming. Welcome spring, I hope you stay awhile!

rebecca--maybe, yeah! so far, christopher and my favorite is a banana popsicle--a banana blended with half a cup of milk and a heaping tablespoon of sugar--it's sweet and creamy and banana-y. i also like to get juice concentrate, make double-strength juice and freeze it. pretty simple but delicious.

Great outfit... and not only because I am wearing the very same skirt today! Skirts with pockets are the best. Where were you lucky enough to find EmersonMade wholesale?

Welcome Spring and you are right, welcome bare legs! It will be nice to give tights a little break.

The cherry blossoms are gorgeous! You're going to love them. Don't pull any flowers off the trees. Purists will KILL YOU, because that part of the branch doesn't grow back.
