In the name of honesty, this outfit is actually from last Friday, a day where bright colors and mixed patterns seemed to celebrate the warmth and weekend ahead. Christopher, his brother, and I spent the afternoon on the roof of a building in our neighborhood, soaking up the sunshine and a few Fat Tires. Fittingly, for a Monday spent camped out at a coffee shop soaking up americanos, I am wearing all grey today :)

Oh and PS I commented a while ago (on pinterest?)about reading (and loving) The Siege of Krishnapur, and I finally got a hold of Troubles (I had to voyage all the way to the big city for it, none of my small town bookstores had a copy. I started it this morning and I think, so far, it's perfect for the blustery gray windy weather we're having.

Love your pattern mixing! I think this might be my favorite way you've worn that skirt. Orange and blue is one of my favorite color combos. And I'm obsessed with stripes!
Thrifted skirts are seriously the best pieces a girl could have in her wardrobe, haha. You have made me realize that I need a striped shirt, though.
