In times of busy schedules, I am totally a creature of habit, turning to outfits I've already made to tweak a piece here and there and see if I can make them feel different. Yesterday, I copped the scarf and dress from this outfit, and added some structure with a blazer and belt. It's not radically different but it's such a hectic week, I'm satisfied if I can leave the house wearing shoes (even if I don't have time to brush my hair).

Love the polka dots! I wanted to get the polka dot Jason Wu blouse at Target, but by the time I went they were already sold out. Womp, womp.
even when you 'borrow' items from things you've worn before in the week, you have such a refreshing way of making it look new and exciting! i love your combinations :)
I love the blush pink polka dot dress - and the blue blazer looks great paired with it.

I love that structured cobalt blue blaze paired with the flowy dress. I often revisit outfits changing up one or two items.

Cute! Love the blazer!
Love the infinity scarf! Weird question... Are those tights or leggings?
jordan--they are sweater tights!
page--ah, such a bummer! i heard things went really fast. if you're looking for polka dots, i went to h&m this weekend and it was like polka dot heaven :)
i like your outfit, even if you have worn it before. and i completely understand what you mean - twice i have been walking down my sidewalk and almost in my car before i realized that i'd forgotten my shoes. it's crazy how a busy or stressful schedule can interfere with even the smallest things!
love your dress!!!

Love the dress and love the way you've added the cobalt blazer and tights with it. It's an interesting color combination and it is very attention catching. I hope you'll think up some more ways to wear or accessorize this dress on your blog over the next few weeks. It's a cute, cheerful dress and I like seeing the way you style it during the winter. I was recently thinking about how much easier life would be for me if I just stuck to five outfits and reworked them with accessories over the course of a year so these dress postings are inspiring.
I love all the texture and color in this outfit! I think it's winning, even if you did have to recycle. That's what true style is about, right? Being able to breathe new life into things? :)

why do i feel like we know each other? anyway. you're awesome. and i wear the same pants 3-4 times per week. no shame my friend.
I love all the dress posts. It gives me so many ideas on how to make my Florida-girl wardrobe into a Northeast-winter wardrobe.

Both outfits are adorable! My dress collection isn't quite as large as I'd like it to be, so I find myself remixing dresses as much as possible. And Kristen is right, you just can't go wrong with polka dots.

megan, i hear you! these are the weeks i wish i went to a uniform school or something. i'd love to do a few more posts about the dress. i'll see if i can wear it a couple more times in the next few weeks and then do up a little "how do i wear thee" post on it, those are so much fun to do.
Your dress is fantastically whimsical yet charismatic. I love the unique twist the blue blazer, ingenious!

and I definitely understand being a creature of habit. On weekends, I usually wear the same outfit for three days in a row and simply tweak my accessories!
