January cold has left me feeling a bit schlumpy, so I went to pinterest for inspiration this morning and remembered this. I was in the mood for something simple and cozy, and that image hit the spot.

Very cute! You look nice in that sweater--I can still see your figure underneath it--but every time I try on a sweater like that I feel like it turns my torso into a cableknit plank of wood. Stroke of genius to pair it with the plaid! I must try on more sweaters now.
Ohh this really is one of my favorite ways to dress when you want to be cozy! I may have to pull out my fair isle sweater and a button down today!

Really like how the white sweater makes the red shirt pop out even more. :) Simply cute!
To address your volume question, I clip my hair half way with those 2 inch clips and push my hair up a bit to give it a little poof. I then let it air dry for the rest of the day/night. I have the same problem - flat, almost volumless hair that doesn't curl. I hope this helps :)

Sweaters and flannel shirts are two of my favorite things! Those and my Patagonia capilene baselayer bottoms, which rarely come off me in the winter. I'm a sucker for warm clothing. The perk of being cold-natured! :)
