Hot-Headed

Happy December! I had to break out a hat and scarf to celebrate the last month of the year, even though I needed the hat more to cover up my unwashed hair than I did to stay warm. It's been beautiful and perfectly crisp outside--just the kind of weather where you want to ride your bike and take walks and play football in the park. That, or sit inside working all day staring at the sunshine outside the window. Now, please pardon me while I sniffle self-pityingly and get back to my computer.

Goodness, this reminds me of my student days - looking at the gorgeousness outside and going back to work, a bit mournfully, on my computer. Hope you get a chance to ride your bike (or walk, or play football) again soon!

Also, I'm loving the mustard yellow with that shade of blue. Nice! :)

Love the hat! It makes me want to knit. Oh, if only I could knit something awesome like a hat, instead of 1/5 of a scarf. Haha.

I am so happy the weather is getting a bit chillier! I loooove hats and gloves and layering. Bring on the cold!

I love this outfit! The hat and scarf really bring a nice warm feeling to the outfit, both because they look warm, and because they are such a nice touch of warm colour in a "cool" coloured outfit.

My goodness! I have a jacket that is nearly IDENTICAL to that, and I found it at Goodwill for about $4! If I really wanted to COPY you (insert winky face), I could definitely do this with pieces that I have. ...so cuddly...so warm... (as I sit in the "balmy" house with a room temperature of 62 degrees)

dawn--yes, twinsies!! this jacket was such a great thrift find, i feel like i cheated the trends by getting it so cheaply.

I wish I had your eye for great thrift finds. I am always so overwhelmed when I walk into the store.

I love the hat! I wish I looked good in hats so I could cover my unwashed hair. But alas, I will have to live vicariously through you!

Lucky! It has been really chilly here. I was just thinking you were brave to wear a skirt, but it must be warmer there.
