Today the mercury mercifully dipped below 80 degrees which meant the moment was here: The Time To Wear My Awesome High-Waisted Red Pants. I know they say red is a power color, but until you have red pants of your own, you don't realize how cheer-inducing and powerful-feeling red can be. I feel endowed with extra strength today, like I could lift a car off a hurt baby or pilot an emergency helicopter or even finish annotating the three volumes of essays I've read in the past few weeks.

While I love the colored jeans trend, I haven't dived in myself yet. I'm a little nervous about how to wear it and how it will be received in my rinky-dink town. I love the way you wore them; definitely something I could do without getting looked at funny.
Wow, those red pants are perfection! They make such a statement even though it's a simple outfit overall. LOVE 'em! I've been thinking of getting color jeans for a while (specially after seeing Elaine rock so many different hues). I think if I go for it, it'll have to pick red now! :D

I've been on the hunt for red pants for a while, but have yet to find the right pair for me. These are amazing on you, though! The high waist is a nice touch and I really love how you've toned down the rest of your look with soft neutrals to balance the WOW of the red. You look great as always!

i am definitely a skirts person, too. i like they way they look on me...but occassionally a pair of pants is super comfortable, too, i'm finding. something about the bright color doesn't look lazy (even though is can be put together hastily).

I love red! It's my favourite colour. I just don't know if I could wear red pants, I don't have lovely legs like yours so I'm not sure they'd draw attention to my legs.
I have a pair of red pants too (though I like the cut of yours more) & they do make me feel powerful & can brighten any day. I've had mine for ages but have been mixing them up a lot more this year by pairing them with peachy pinks and light blues.
