How Do I Wear Thee: Bright Printed Dress
I'm excited to give this a spin this fall, but this dress has been a favorite through the spring and summer, even if it a bit of a color statement.

It's one of the favorites in my closet, too! Thanks for posting all of your looks in one place--very handy. It's especially cute with the yellow ballet flats.
This is wonderful! I think it's great when you find a piece that can work between seasons like this dress does. Love the color!
Every time I try to wear this, my husband says it looks like a nightie. Maybe if I save it for fall and layer the heck out of it, it'll work better for me.
I also did a post awhile back showing how different bloggers styled this dress.
I discovered your blog some time ago, and I'm addicted! :-)
It's great to see your smile on each photo, you look so spontaneous, we see you do this blog for your pleasure first!
And I love your outfits, they are simple and unpretentious, but always charming!
(sorry for my english, I hope you understand what I mean!)
I remember the week when this dress just BLEW UP all over blogsace. But I still love it : )
I have this dress too and am excited to wear it this fall, I have a few ideas for it already! I haven't worn it at all this summer, I'm not sure why now that I think about it. I love the different ways you've styled it.
I'm really liking these "How Do I Wear Thee" posts. I wouldn't mind seeing them regularly even after you're all settled in!
Hope the move is going well!
I like to wear my copy of this dress buttoned all the way up. Also with a fake lace collar sometimes. Because I am hipster.
I love that dress, it's so pretty and colorful :)
I just wore this dress today! Today I paired it with oxfords, a tan belt and a mustard cardigan. Once I wore it with an emerald green sweater over the top, that was one of my favorite looks!
Colour is good! :)
That is a really pretty print. I'm inspired by how you mix it up!
I really love this dress. And it's not as bright and flashy as you think, you're just not used to wearing so much colour :p
I like that dress, too!
I've worn mine 8 times (search "tucker" on my blog if you're curious), but still find all that volume a challenge.
I'm thinking of cutting the elastic out of the sleeves to make it more versatile for layering. (And also because the elastic is too tight for my Arnold arms.) What do you think?
All of the fashion bloggers I stumble across and love have this dress! Whenever I wear it I get compliments galore, and it remixes so well!
I have this dress as well. My favorite of your styles is the one with the gray/blue? tights and gray shoes. I wouldn't have thought to wear it that way. When you do these "how do I wear thee" posts, is it possible to have the photos link back to the original posts?
I basically just want to know from where you got those gray shoes! and the blazer.
I love this dress with the grey tights and blazer! Very cute <3.

mathilde--thank you!
kasmira--yeah it's too tight for mine, too! the dress is big everywhere else but pinches my skinny forearms...never thought of cutting the elastic out. is it too blousy then?
emily--yes, i SHOULD link to the original posts! i'll do it on the next ones (right now i have i'm too frazzled to go back). but the gray shoes are from urban outfitters and the blazer is old from banana republic. if you have other questions, you're welcome to email me! i'm sorry about not linking back to earlier posts...next time i'll do it for sure.
Ohh definitely the one with the tights, looks so lovely
