Cheaper by the Dozen

works cited: ruche dress; gap jacket; UO flats; linleyshea necklace; bag from etsy

This morning, I dragged my night-owl boyfriend out of bed early to go buy fresh eggs from the chicken farm. They only sell them in flats of 30 eggs, so I guess we'll be eating a lot of eggs for the next few weeks. I've also had a complete relapse into my addiction to blue and gray, whoops. But tomorrow is a new day, where I'll wear color again...and eat eggs for every meal.

P.S. other ways I've worn this much-loved dress:

I know you're always saying that you need to wear more color - but I love that you wear subdued shades! I think you do it very well, and I'm kind of jealous that you have so many neutrals in your closet.

It's no wonder you keep turning to this color combination, it looks fantastic on you!

Great look Tania!! I loove jean jackets. Can't stop wearing mine, even in the summer.
And that dress is lovely. Love every single look you have created with it.

Farm fresh eggs are the best! Maybe you can make some flan or creme brulee to use them up. :)

Between you and Rebecca of The Clothes Horse, I'm starting to really crave one of those lovely little jean jackets! I like the airy, casual feel of this outfit, and your bike tote is so cute!

Of all the ways you've worn the dress, I actually think this is my favorite! The denim jacket and canvas tote are just so classic and chic.

Super cute! I love that this is a 90s throwback without being too obvious about it.

A great way to use eggs would be in a Spanish tortilla...super easy and delicious! http://sassysaltysweet.blogspot.com/2011/06/spanish-tortilla.html

Oh, don't worry about binging on eggs. The ones usually sold in grocery stores are already weeks and weeks old, if not months and months. If you got your eggs fresh from the chicken, you could keep them for 3 months in your fridge and they'd still be perfectly good. Just don't use them in a souffle, or bad things will happen! Explosive, oven-dirtying bad things. I know from experience hah.

I hear they are far better when fresh. You'll have to tell us if they are and if you feel stronger and smarter.

I love that you get such good wear out of your clothes (which is an ethical subject I've been discussing on my blog today) and it looks so good in each and everyway that you've styled it.

I like your sweet little shoes.

Cute outfit! I love your dress and necklace. :) I have a night-owl boyfriend too, it's so hard to get him up early sometimes! Also, you should make a quiche with your eggs, it's a great way to use up a few at once and you can eat it for lunch and/or dinner!

Blue + grey = awesome (in my opinion anyway). I used to get farm fresh eggs, they taste so much better than supermarket eggs ... I miss doing that :(

You are such a great remixer! Man, I'd kill for that skill. Looks like I should invest in some more layer-able pieces ;)

Thanks for the inspiration (as always)!
