Real(ly) Simple

simple

simple
works cited: urban outfitters sweater; gap pants; anthro necklace; bag from NPR; clarks wedges

A lot of the blogs I'm drawn to read feature classic, accessible outfits. I'm a sucker for a really simple look, so I pinned this one (from the Sartorialist) the other day and knew that I wanted to recreate it. Cropped pants, a gray sweater, simple jewelry and wedges--nothing could be simpler and yet it still feels pulled together and pretty. I also love the mix of warm weather staples with open-toed shoes...pretty much perfect for the extremely shy spring we're having in the midwest.

Simplicity at its finest.

My OCD personality would no doubt add a bright red belt or something and ruin the whole concept!

I found you via Pixie in Pumps, love every post :-)

And now I must wear that outfit, too! I'm a total sucker for simple, no matter how much I try to be more "interesting" with my style. :-) I have three similar components in my wardrobe already. I just have to wait for a cooler day.

One can never go wrong with clean lines and simple pieces. I think you look beautiful in this outfit!

And girrrrl, if you want to see simple, then pop over to my blog. Trust me, this is not simple compared to the outfits I rock around this little beach town! :)

Very basic but cute and stylish ~ I'm definitely drawn to those types of styles as well. Layers and I just don't get along very well lol. I really love those wedges too.

I do love simplicity. Sometimes I look around at people who just pile items on willy nilly and think "If they just went with the basics, they could look so much better!" You are beautiful!

This is exactly the reason why I was drawn to your blog in the first place - every outfit is so simple and effortless, yet so lovely!

Simplicity is always key! You remind me of a modern day Audrey Hepburn in this outfit, I do believe that this is the best way to introduce yourself to a shy springtime. :)

I bought those wedges in black after admiring them on you (they're SO comfortable!). And my boyfriend has that very same WNYC totebag. Now I just need to grow some flowing golden-brown hair and I can dress up as "Real(ly) Simple Tania" for my next costume party! ...People would get it, right?
