Loosey Goosey

loosey goosey

loosey goosey

loosey goosey
works cited: target blazer and wedges; ruche blouse; linleyshea necklace; gap jeans

Because it's the end of the semester and I have approximately seven million papers and exams to grade and research to do and Mr. Christopher defends his dissertation on Friday, my brains are coming out of my ears. So I have been trying to go with the flow. Starting with the flow of my shirt and blazer. Because I have compulsive belt-itis, it was difficult not to cinch up this ensemble, but once I let the belt go, I found I actually liked the way it looked and felt. Maybe this loosey goosey thing could work for me...now if only letting all the other things go with the flow were so easy :)
P.S. You could win a gift certificate to Ruche where you could buy a cute blouse of your very own. Today's the last day to enter!

I'm a big fan of loose & flowy tops. Some times I'm not sure that it photographs super well, but it always catches my eye when I see people actually wearing it or when I catch my reflection in the mirror. I think it's the movement of the fabric that I really like. :) This blouse is really cute It's a lovely color on you.

I'm happy to see that you've embraced the blazer! The shirt looks great with it! This would also work so well with shorts.

I used to wear all of my clothes loose like this before I caught the belting bug! It's relaxing to go back once in a while.

I adore the blazer too. And that shade of coral is just lovely.

I love to pair coral/salmon with turquoise. I have yet to work up to taking outfit pics so it's nice to see that it looks just as good to others as it does to me in my head! :)

So I dream of being a professor some day. I currently teach 7th grade.
Then, one day I thought . . . if I think I have a lot of papers to grade NOW . . .
I don't know how you do it.
Guaranteed they're better papers than I read though. Hopefully. :)

You look great, even through all the work. I am staring down the barrel of another five weeks (hooray for terms?) and I don't know that I even have any brain left. If the weather stays nice like it was today, I don't think I can pull through!

Good luck to you and Mr. Christopher with your crazy schedules!

Do you ever notice how random things/phrases happen in twos? I read your "loosey goosey" reference yesterday morning, and then heard it again yesterday evening. That's all.

What Would a Nerd Wear said...

meghan, yes totally! it's such a random thing. sometimes i wonder if it's just because i'm particularly attuned to a word or phrase that day...still weird though!
