I'm so tired I can barely type now, because I spent the day helping Christopher buy his first suit for some upcoming job interviews (exciting!). I'm accustomed to feeling overdressed a lot of the time, but next to a handsome man in a snappy suit, I suddenly felt like I was wearing reindeer pajamas in public. It was kind of refreshing. In other news, we got awkwardly harassed by some bored Sears employees while we were taking these photos on the side of the mall. I think they threw off our mojo, because a lot of the pictures came out overexposed, and it's hard to see my favorite part of this outfit--the lime green necklace against the purple-blue cardigan. Ah well, it was all worth it just to be asked if I was taking my senior photos. Why yes, I do feel as fresh as a 17 year-old.

Oh ha ha well at least you know you'll look great when you get old (: and that's such a fun skirt! Cute but fancy at the same time
Haha, I have many awkward photo stories like that! Hope he found a good suit and you look great (not even close to reindeer PJ's)! XOXO, www.NatalyasCloset.com
I get the same thing about my age. My boyfriend is 32, and looks it. I am 25 and look about 17 some days. Thus, when we go out together, we sometimes get strange looks from people. You know they are just thinking he is a cradle-robber.
I think my favorite part of this outfit is the necklace and the shoes. They are fun pops of color than perfectly complete the look!
<3 the skirt! It is adorable!

It's your skin, girl. You have got to have the most dewy, glowy, fresh-faced skin of any 'adult' (what does that mean?) I know. I can't recall off the top of my head if you've ever posted about your beauty regimen, but if you haven't, you should. Do us all a favor. :)
And that skirt is just about the cutest.
the other emily
ha, thanks, emily! i think it's a trick of the light though...

You look so pretty in these photos. Love your skirt, and good luck to Christopher for his job interviews!
I got carded at the Salvation Army last year because the cashier couldn't believe I was older than 18. A little awkward, yes, but isn't it funny when it happens? I wish that would happen for the rest of my 20s :)
Hey being called 17 is awesome. Since I have two kids people always think I am older, I'm only 25 peps!
I love that skirt, buttons down the middle perfect.
Write it in Lipstick
I went to Anthro to see if I could still buy that skirt, but it's out in my size! It looks great on you! Also, just last week on a field trip I was asked if I was in 8th grade. Um, no... I'm 27 and I'm the teacher of the other class. Hopefully our looking-young luck continues when we're 40 or 50! ;o)
Better Than a Milk Mustache

I love that high-waisted denim skirt!
I'm in my mid-twenties too and last year I got IDed to see a R rated movie. I pretended to be appalled but I was secretly flattered that someone thought I was still a teenager! haha
I love your skirt!
Good luck to Christopher!
Just Better Together
I really like this outfit. I love the bright blues with the yellow flats - my favorite color combination. And kudos to you for looking like a high school senior :)

ahhhh you are adorable!! I'm gonna cave in a second and just buy that damn skirt
I DID cave and buy the skirt once you alerted us to the sale (thanks for the anthro shopping tip!). I love the idea of this skirt and the way it looks so adorable in your photos. But as a person who is used to stick straight pencil skirts, I'm having an awkward time getting used to the unexpected fullness, especially with the pleats in the front, and haven't been sure what to pair it with. Thanks for showing some ways to wear this skirt!
Yellow flats... <3
over exposure and gorgeous all the same. love the shoes!
i love this denim skirt and the pop of color from the shoes is perfect!
cute & little
Love the combo of blue and yellow. You look so cute (as usual)!
Oh man I'm in love with those yellow flats.

I *adore* this outfit. It's absolutely gorgeous and I love the idea of the lime green necklace with the blue cardi + the yellow flats.

Haha, those dang mall employees. Lovin' the bright colors!
What a pity you can't see the limegreen necklace! but I love the light yellow shoes with the denim and blue cardi, looks really cute! I have something for exposed button-facings :)
lol! That happened to me a few years back when I visited The Limited looking for an outfit for a grad school seminar. The sales guy asked me if the outfit was for my high school graduation. My mother in-law and I just cracked up!
Love the outfit by the way! Very cute shoes!!
You get the award for Best Jean Skirt of the Year. It's sooooo cute and flattering.
I love this outfit! one of my favorites :)
Love the first few days of wearing spring clothes- so fun! Love the yellow shoes too!
