Five Confessions:
1. I drank too much wine last night. Yes, on a Sunday. Forces to blame include a really good lasagna, excellent company, and the recent discovery that my favorite wine from college is sold locally.
2. Subsequently, this morning I felt like creature from the deep.
3. So I spent most of the day in pajamas, reading a little Woolf (but mostly napping, let's be honest).
4. Hence this is the first time I have gotten dressed today because I have to go and meet people in an hour (I am hoping the bright colors distract from my undereye circles).
5. Thank goodness for dry shampoo, which is the only thing preventing me from looking how I feel.
I'm a bike-riding bookworm in DC trying to make better use of a sometimes-vanilla closet. You can read a little more about this blog

Oh, the unexpected weekday hangover. YUCK. But fun in a way too. Are we glad to be academics, where spending a Monday in pjs reading Woolf because of too much wine is a perfectly acceptable activity?

I feel your pain! my worst was a 9 oclock class on the monday morning after...only survived due to a caring boyfriend coming to get me, a massive chistmas style jumper and dry shampoo! Upsettingly you look so much lovelier than i did :)
