True Confessions

true confessions

true confessions

true confessions
works cited: gap jeans; anthro sweater; ruche blouse; steve madden flats; necklace from summer camp lost and found

Five Confessions:
1. I drank too much wine last night. Yes, on a Sunday. Forces to blame include a really good lasagna, excellent company, and the recent discovery that my favorite wine from college is sold locally.
2. Subsequently, this morning I felt like creature from the deep.
3. So I spent most of the day in pajamas, reading a little Woolf (but mostly napping, let's be honest).
4. Hence this is the first time I have gotten dressed today because I have to go and meet people in an hour (I am hoping the bright colors distract from my undereye circles).
5. Thank goodness for dry shampoo, which is the only thing preventing me from looking how I feel.

Sometimes wine is just so good you can't help but have more than one glass...or one piece of lasagna. You look so incredibly adorable in this yellow and coral combo. I love the steve madden flats. You are ready for spring!

I think you look quite put together! Kudos!

I'm with Katie though- what's your favorite wine from college?

Oh, the unexpected weekday hangover. YUCK. But fun in a way too. Are we glad to be academics, where spending a Monday in pjs reading Woolf because of too much wine is a perfectly acceptable activity?

Love the coral and yellow!

You look pretty great, and you need to share the wine recommendation!

thank you! the wine is called "house wine" (http://preceptwinebrands.com/our_wines/brands/000000019/house_wine)

I love that color combination.

Dry shampoo, huh? I've heard of it, but the concept still weirds me out... How do you wash your hair without water?!

I really like your anthro sweater -- it's such a cheerful color and I like the design on it.

Because of your reading recs post, I actually went to the library to pick up some books (if you're curious, I got some William Faulkner and Hitchcock-related books). Tania = helping others get a good dose of enjoyable reading since 2011 :)

I wanted to come ask about your dry shampoo too...I've been hearing so much about it, but I can't find it anywhere locally! Before I take the plunge and buy something online and pay for shipping, etc., I'd love to get some kind of personal testimonial from someone I trust :) What kind do you use? Is it everything they say it is and more?

Sometimes you just have to drink a little wine, and have some fun. But, a hangover, or even a tiny one is never fun. You look great, and I never would have known.

It's funny how good wine and good company doesn't necessarily make for a good next day!

I love your bright colors today - you look great even if you don't feel 100% :)
