For me, Elaine from clothed much is the blogger who has inspired perhaps more outfit recreations than any other blogger. She is a maverick with clothing, working on an actual serious budget, and so she is endlessly inventive at recombining and remixing her limited closet. The other day, she posted this gem, which I immediately pinned to my pinterest thinking it would be perfect for spring. Turns out I (and Elaine, obviously) was right. Red, white, cream, and pink felt very springy and all the wool in this outfit kept me warm. Plus I thrifted most of this outfit...I feel like Elaine would be proud :)

This is such an Elaine outfit, but that ruffle cardi is totally you! Love the cross blogger inspiration :)
This is such a great Elaine outfit! She is a style genius - I used her for inspiration this week myself :).
But like Sarah said, the ruffle cardi is your own spin - love it!!
small time style
Cute =). Love the cardigan!
This is perfect! Elaine is a maverick and she always looks so chic, you pulled this off perfectly!

Love both your and Elaine's outfits, and even though they're similar I think the small details really individualize them. Very pretty!

I love the slight twist on the classic red and white color palette.
Love your thrifted skirt!
Love it!
Wow, that skirt and those wedges are quite the finds! I've been searching for wedges like that for a while but so far haven't come up with anything. I remember that outfit on Elaine's blog. I loved her white top, so feminine. But I think I actually like what you've done with the concept better...the simple tee and sticking with a neutral shoe, and I love the length of your skirt. Looks great!! Hooray for pinterest! That site is addicting!
Love how the two outfits almost look identical and yet this is very still "you." So cute. (hey, that rhymes!)

Gosh, this outfit is so great! The red and the camel, the sweet cardigan, and the blue bike is a fantastic accent for the pictures. Beautiful!
