I've decided not to hem this skirt, not only because I really like the length, but also because it turns out knife pleats are ridiculously difficult to hem (as I found out trying to hem another thrifted skirt) and are also expensive to get hemmed (as I found out when I gave up and brought that skirt to the tailor). So long it is! Also, hilariously, I asked Christopher to get an artsy close-up shot of this shirt which has really pretty striping, but instead, I just ended up with a half dozen pictures focused right on my bosom (which are not going on the internet). Boys...

That skirt is so gorgeous - I am in love with it - as I am with the whole outfit. It so classic and elegant, yet modern, all at the same time! So that means, it's quintessential Tania :) Love it!
Accordion pleated skirts are better longer anyway (I have one knee length one and it is constantly trying to Marilyn Monroe on the subway grate on me!) I like it that length and you look exceptionally tall today!
I love the length on you! I think my brother would get along quite well with your Christopher. :) He's nine. (teehee)
Best post title, ever!
Yay for not hemming the skirt!

Not that you don't always look skinny and lovely, but your waist looks teensy tiny in this! Very cute!
You definitely look like you are ready to teach in this outfit! LOL, I'm still laughing about the "bosom" pictures...typical boy behavior! :D

I'm glad you didn't hem it - it's perfect at that length and you have great legs so can totally pull it off!
This outfit is fantastic and you look stunning! I love the length of the skirt and how you styled it. Spot on. :)
I have been looking for a skirt just like this...it's great! My photographer has the same issues, last time I asked him he got a perfect shot of my necklace framing my boob. definitely not going online.
Pretty Little Mountains
T, you wear this length perfectly! I've been a little hesitant to try out the midi, but you've made me a believer. I love how simple and chic this outfit is. Adding this to my thrift store shopping list!

Seriously, I love your skirt!
Yay! No hemming! It is really pretty on you... and I am sad I missed the bosom shots...haha
flawless! you are really pulling off the mid-length skirt trend :)
Yeah, you look GREAT here. I'm afraid I will soon need to un-follow you from complete jealousy of this skirt. (I'm going to try to get over it, though.)
Gorgeous!
oh boys! haha.. those Clarks wedges look SO comfy.. I may have to get myself a pair :)
I want your whole outfit!
I have grown to love these knife pleat skirts and have collected several over the winter months. They are fun to style with a bit of wind...so you might give the fella a second chance.
This is the perfect length on you, please don't hem it!!! Adorable. And so many ways you can wear a black skirt this length and cut :)

Thirfted? Lucky, lucky. The skirt is gorgeous :)
My boyfriend does the EXACT. SAME. THING. I don't even know why it surprises me anymore. Heheh, pervs ;)
This outfit is so gorgeous. You look classy and chic, and that skirt is perfect at that length!
You do look incredibly tall in this pictures.
The skirt suits your figure well and the length is perfect for the skirt.
Cute! The length is perfect. It's flattering and very "now". Only downside is you kid of have to wear heels. If you figure out how to wear that length with flats, please do let us know!
That skirt is so great! It looks fabulous on you! On the hunt for my very own now... :)
I think I'm in love with you.
That length looks great on you and your mile long legs!
Love the pleated skirt! And I like the length as well.
I think this length looks good. I ran into the same problems with hemming a thrifted accordion pleated skirt. But I read a tip online that with these skirts it can be much easier to shorten the length by taking length off from the top of the skirt (below the waistband). It worked for me!!
