This isn't the most inspired thing I've ever worn, but it's been a very long, very rainy day and my creativity topped out at the color combination--berry with blue (innovative, I know). I'm sorry I look a little cranky in these photos...the truth is, I feel a worn out by the end of the semester crunch. It's been a very extroverted week, and the dominant introvert in me is crying out for a night spent lying face-down on the couch listening to the record player...that introvert sure knows how to party, huh?

Love all the plum colours. They should sheer you up!
This post makes me wish I had something in my closet that actually was berry coloured.
You look so pretty in that berry scarf! Me too, I couldn't take the rain today so I ran home and changed into sweatpants lickety-split. I hope you enjoy your records!
I totally know what you mean! The semester will be over soon!! :):) I love the pops of berry against the blues.
Rain is never great...but wellies always seem to cheer me up (splashing in puddles)!
Hope you get your sunshine back. :)
End of term = whine time. It also happens to coincide with wine time. Just go with it.
good luck finishing up this semester! be positive! it will be done soon and hopefully you'll have time to just relax! good luck! and i love your hunter boots! :)
Oh! That is totally not cool about the weather but you will be done soon!!! :) You are looking chic nonetheless!!

Aww. You look so unhappy in your 2nd pic. I completely understand the end of the semester woes.
I was TOTALLY thinking the same things today. I teach 7th grade (vastly different, I know) and my creative energy is all but expired at the end of the school year. Here's hoping you get a break soon...I'll be grading papers. :)

I miss being able to whine about rain :(
I think you still look great. (And that totally sounds like my kind of party :P)

Where's the scarf from?
I like rain but don't like having to be extroverted. As an introvert, interacting with people a lot without alone time makes me super tired. I like your scarf by the way.
that introvert and i should party! oh, and we'll swap books and start our own book club to the tunes of the record player. it'll be great!
you'll survive yet another end of the semester traumas and i am gladly cheering you on! please take a look at my bookwormy style blog when you get the chance (after the end of the semester, of course).

I love your blog! Cheer up, us introverts do need to recover after lots of time spent being extra social, so i hope you get that time to yourself this weekend. and tell the rain to go away already!!

Hi, I think you look quite intriguing and I love that you are wearing your Wellingtons to keep your Feet dry and look good on you too.
Cheers,
Allen.
i really like this outfit -- perfectly casual/weather appropriate for the dreariness outside. trenches & hunter boots are so chic.
I really like this. I could in no way tell of your self-proclaimed lack of effort.
You look adorable! I'm so sick of the rain too, but hopefully Spring will come soon!
I'm following you now! I hope you'll consider following me too :)

Love the plum. Good luck with the semester. I am suffering from post-comprehensive exam blues. A crash always follows an exhausting brain-a-thon!
Good luck.
Hunter Wellies are my new obsession and they look great with this outfit! I'm so glad I stumbled upon your blog because I enjoy it every day! You are great inspiration!
i hear ya! i graduate in 20 days, it has been raining non-stop for the last two weeks, and it's chilly to boot! i find it so hard to be creative and inspired when all you really want to do is curl up under a blanket with a good book!
there's gotta be a light at the end of the tunnel, no? :)

Oh man. I feel ya sister. I'm giving you a big ol' internet hug right now. I swear it's not as creepy as it sounds.

love your expression in the second pic, looks like some of mine! i also definitely need some rainy weather gear, seems like the rain never stops and i am so unprepared.
It's hard to feel inspired outfit wise when it is raining. I just discovered your blog and I love it! I will be back.
awwwwww don't be sad :) Poor tania - I totally feel for you with your crazy week! I hope you get to spend this weekend, face down listening to records :) You've earnt it
I Don't know what you're talking about- It's totally inspiring! I love all of the neutrals you pulled together in this look. And I totally feel your end-of-the-semester-crunch-time pain. I somehow decided it would be a good idea to procrastinate all semester long and leave it for the last 2 weeks. Idiot.

Realy nice and inspiring blog! I am following you now!:D
I think you belong in a J.Crew catalog...
I'm falling in love with your blog. Today I decided to work my way up from the bottom of my bloglovin list of faves, and finally got to see more of your post since i always get tired by the time i get the bottom! Seriously love your blog, and i love this outfit, and the picture. I wish i could get away from the city and visit a place like this.
