See…something looks a bit, I don’t know, not quite right. And I don’t think the glasses work either. After my earlier experiment sputtered, I thought outerwear could solve my problem. Readers of Tania’s blog will know her fondness for pattern mixing. I thought I’d “kick it up another notch” by mixing patterns AND insulative properties. Because cool weather is lingering here in the Midwest, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try some down/breathable fabric fusions. Buuuuuuut…
Filled with frustration, I tried one final combination. This time, I went to my ace in the hole—sequins! Sequins say “fancy,” but I can dress them down by pairing them with jeans, right? Throw on a wintery cap to look “fashionably bundled,” and I thought I’d have a surefire winner. Like Tania, though, I had a hard time standing still in front of the camera.
You are not allowed to ask where this vest came from. But you are allowed to join me wishing Tania a happy April Fool’s day! I’m stuck in Philly and I miss you already, Tania.
