Don't be jealous--it's been 70 degrees and sunny here and I have more or less refused to stay inside. Yesterday, Christopher and I took our bicycles, blankets, a kite, and our books to the park where we loafed around reading and napping and talking for a several hours. Then we snapped some shots on the way home. It was a heavenly day.

And yes, this dress was my self-reward for finishing my exams, and yes, it cost several months of my clothing budget, but it was so, so worth it.

On Sunday the boy and I watched a marathon of Jersey Shore in bed. That's kind of the same, right? No? Well in my defense the weather is still terrible in Seattle.

I should have given myself something like that as a post exam reward. I bought myself a purse as a post graduation reward, but forgot the post exam reward! Hope your graduate work is going well!

So terribly jealous of your weather and your dress. Today we're in the 50s but tomorrow the forecast is for "wintry mix" - even though it's officially spring! Those flats are adorable and a bit unexpected. Congrats on finishing exams!

the dress is awesome and you look amazing in it. You deserve a reward. I remember how hard school was.... well I was an art major so it wasn't that hard but still....a job well done deserves a reward.

I'm so jealous of your spring picnic! They must be my favourite summer past time and living in Canada I don't get to do it very often. I appreciate them to the fullest when I get them though!

Love the bike and outfit!

Your dress and picnic are lovely! We had one nice day in the 70s in New York, and all I wanted to do was be outside. Stupid 9-5 job and stupid needing money to live, right? And you totally deserve a special dress for finishing your exams.

What a pretty dress, and well-deserved! My sister is buying herself a graduation present this spring, but for her husband's graduation. She figures since she's been working to put him through pharmacy school, she deserves a present too!
