I know you were waiting with bated breath to hear about the weather out here (again) and don't worry, this post will not disappoint. It's so cold, I just want to curl up in the snow like a weary traveler on the tundra and cry a little bit. Want proof? This was the picture Christopher took while trying to coax me to take off my coat:

And then he spent the rest of the 45 whole seconds I could bear standing outside saying "Think warm thoughts! Think warm thoughts!"

Love the orange and maroon together - just like the orange skirt with maroon.

You honestly don't look cold in the first three pictures - you hide it well! Fabulous outfit, I love the colour combo as well!

hehehe you are soo cute!! I love that last photo!! Christopher is such a sweetie for being your cheering squad - and you are a HERO for taking photos outside in that weather without a coat. I know EXACTLY how cold it is there right now!!! Thinking warm thoughts for you!

I am so done with winter; this season can go away and never come back for all I care! On the plus side, your outfit is really cute, and I love both the colors and the layering.

The coat picture is hysterical... that's how I look every morning, even though I don't have someone trying to coax me to take my coat off!

I love the shades of grey in this outfit with the pops of color. Super cute! I wish I were as creative and brave as you are!

Yup. It's effing cold. I might die.

But I love the colors!

hehe love your bubble jacket picture. And I'm right there with you - how can you blog about anything but the weather when it's this COLD?

Autumn said...

Wow, a lot of the blogs I have been reading have been wearing a lot of orange. I'm really tired of the cold, too. Right now, it's 11 degrees F!

Hahaha! It's pretty cold here too, and the wind is the worst part. It's supposed to be in the 50s all next week, though so things are definitely looking up!

Beautiful color combination. You are a brave woman-- even if I didn't live in a large apartment building with people walking in and out all the time, outdoor photos would still be a no-go with this cold.

The last photo is hilarious! You and Christopher seem to have such a fun relationship :) Stay WARM!

you are so cute!! And Christopher is such a sweetie! Also, I want that necklace! Now that I'm doing the 30 for 30, I've noticed I need more statement necklaces.

Ah, I just love that skirt! Wait, one day it is gone from your closet, it might have wandered into mine :D

I love the picture of you in the coat... because that is *exactly* how I've been feeling here in Missouri!

amy said...

You did it! You truly had me fooled in those first couple shots. Can you believe those models who have to model the summer clothes in winter and the winter clothes in summer? That's hardcore.

well, you look adorable despite the cold. hope it warms up for you!

I love the colors and you look super comfy... minus the freezing weather.

Really like the style of this skirt, you pull it off greatly.
It is pretty cold here in Oklahoma too... funny thing is that it is suppose to be in the upper 60's next week, while it was 10 degrees today.

On the plus side, if you're going to curl up in the snow, this is the best outfit to do so - super comfortable and good looking. :) Hang in there.

You look so cute for being so cold! When I'm really cold, I usually wear so many layers you can't even tell there's a body underneath it all!

I love the color combos! You look so comfy, but put together at the same time. I definitely look the same right before photos. It's become a race to see how fast we can do them now before my arms freeze off!
