I used to hate football, but where went to college, girls intermural football was hugely popular. Once I started playing, I was hooked--the game is a lot more complex than I originally thought and it is so much fun to play (lately, we have also been playing a lot of snow football, which is a clumsier and slower-moving version :). Christopher likes watching football, so I've tagged along to watch quite a few games this season and I've actually been looking forward to the Superbowl--I never thought I'd say this but it's true. Are you watching? Are you rooting for a particular team? Usually I'm not patriotic about sports, but I have to confess that I don't much like the Steelers (sorry, Linda!), and I love the Packers' B.J. Raji, if only for his hilarious touchdown dance :)

Happy Superbowl Sunday!

One Wisconie to another, this is the first superbowl I think I have ever looked forward to.

P.S. Love the scarf.

Haha the touchdown dance was interesting...:)

Raji's touchdown was awesome! He deserved to do a little dance for that one.

And nice action shot!

Yeah I have always kind of liked football, but my parents have always been huge into it. We have season tickets to the TN Titans and after my first game in the stadium... I was hooked for good. I love the complexity of football and I get so into it now! My college friends think I'm nuts sometimes (I went to a women's college with no football team).

I'm rooting for the Pack tonight too. My exe-boy's family are huge Pack fans and well I just don't care for the Steeler (sorry, Linda!) and really don't care for Ben.

Cute sweatshirt. I love grey and brown together.

Football is the only sport I will watch on TV. I don't care for the Steelers (Linda understands - I'm a Seahawks fan) but I really, really don't like Ben Roethlisberger. Ugh!

Have a fun game day!!

I'm more of a baseball fan, though, occasionally, I watch some football. Today, I'm trying to find something else to do. If I'm unsuccessful, I suppose I will watch the game. I'm also supposed to not like the Packers (because of the Vikings) but I'm rooting for them today because Aaron Rodgers seems like a nice guy. (I don't like the Ben Roethlisberger.)

That's so fun that you played football! I bet it would make it a lot more fun to watch it too! I can't wait for the super bowl. The only bad thing about it is that it officially ends football for the year. I love football and can't get enough of it; I'm more of a college fan myself, but I'll take what I can get. Cute outfit today. Looks very football-themed!

Hehe that's so cute! I can't imagine you playing football!!
To be honest, I haven't really gotten into the football here. Though we do watch the superbowl, cos it's the thing to do, you know?

HA! I've been doing that dance for the last couple weeks and B says it freaks him out.

To be honest, I really only started enjoying football after I got hooked on Friday Night Lights - I never realized how fascinating the game could be until I saw it played by dreamy 20-somethings with good hair. :)

I will be watching this year, despite kick-off being at 11:30pm Morocco time, and have plans to make a big pot of chili to boot. I don't know who I'll root for yet - without the Pats in the game, my loyalties are up for grabs (and likely to go to whichever team has better colors). We'll see if I can stay awake until the end!

i love the comfy outfit you're "sporting" today... (ahhhhhh, that pun was horrible). i'm new to the 30 for 30 and noticed that you missed yesterday's post just like i did! how do you work that out when you do the 30 for 30 challenge? do you make up the post, or just skip it and take longer than 30 days to finish the challenge?

It's Superbowl Sunday today?! I'm from South Africa but I lived in New York for 4 months when I was 19 and it was round about this time of year - had the most AWESOME time over Superbowl!

Good luck to your team today! This is the first year I put money down on squares and I have no clue what to do or figure out if I won.

Tania, you look great as always!

I love how you rock the earthy colors so well. Hope you had fun watching the game!

I probably would've never watched the Super Bowl if I wasn't at work where the TV was on. I was surrounded by guys who all knew the rules and nuances of football vastly more than I did (that isn't much credit though, I'm fairly lost when it comes to competitive sports, haha). So it was a lot of "Go Packers!" all around me and various inappropriate jokes. A regular night at work. I love the photo prop, VERY appropriate. :D

I'm not American so don't watch American football, over the pond in England Liverpool stuffed Chelsea in a particularly delightful twist as last week Chelsea bought a popular Liverpool player (we think the fact they offered him £175 thousand a week had something to do with his change of loyalty) anyway he made a snarky comment about looking forward to playing for a top team and we kicked their asses in the game.

Enjoy the superbowl, you manage to look cute but casual, which is great in my book.

Why do you dislike the Steelers? I have noticed that people either love them or hate the; they are just that kind of team I guess.
I'm actually curious because I never know the reason for the hate (since I'm from Pittsburgh and I think it is a requirement to be a fan if you are from around here.)
