I am a little wiped out by this week and there's a lot more coming my way next week, so I'll keep it short and sweet today. Sometimes I find inspiration in unlikely places--the other day, I saw a girl at the gym with bright red shorts and a gray tee and I found myself smitten with the color combination, so I recreated it for teaching (in slightly less sporty shapes). Now I think gray + red (gred?) is my new favorite mix--it's pretty without trying too hard...at least, I hope so!

Gray + red is one of my favorite color combos.
I do Red + black a lot too. I just wear a lot of red.
I find myself constantly wearing this color combo... which probably has a lot to do with the fact I'm a student at OSU!
Red and gray were my high school colors. Often pair them together particularly in the winter.

Love the stripes. Ok, so is that skirt actually a paperbag waist, or did you just hike it up a little and wrap the belt around it tightly to create that waist? I've been trying to do that, but it always just looks like...well, like I just hiked it up a little and wrapped the belt too tightly. :P

I associate red and grey with several collegiate institutions, especially Ohio State, so it's actually a color combo that I tend to avoid. It looks great here, though!
Gred is pretty fantastic. I just discovered gredlow (gray-yellow-red) and I'm pretty excited about it. I think the stripes make the whole combo work.

I also love red and grey together too. I like to pair my favourite bright red dress with a grey blazer and I put the red belt from the dress over the blazer. I also have worn the same red dress with grey tights and grey vintage looking heels and a black loose knit cardi !

What a perfectly put together outfit, topped off with a great red lipstick. Red and grey is one of my earliest color combo loves. I even remember colouring in pictures with this combination and being enamoured of it.
