It's really ridiculously insert-explitive-here cold today. It was -11 when I got up this morning, so I reached for the thickest sweater in my closet and went from there. I've noticed lately that I'm drawn to wear the same set of pieces a bunch at once (these jeans I wore a week ago, this necklace on Tuesday, the boots and shirt yesterday, and the sweater every moment not on the blog). It's like I have a very slim short-term memory for what's in my closet--I only remember the things I've worn in the past week. Oh well!
P.S. I swear I'll go for more color soon. It's like I'm trying to match my backyard these days :)

wow, -11?!! that's crazy cold. i'm glad you're staying warm and i can totally understand you reaching for the same things. i don't think my brain could even function in that kind of weather!

Love the painted nails! I heard on the news that the same "Al Nina" weather patterns that is causing heavy snow for you is the same reason we're getting floods in Australia. You guys are lucky to be getting frozen water. People in Australia (queensland to be exact) are getting water in the liquid form and it's been going on for days with 16 people dead thus far and 56 still missing. Don't complain about he cold, guys. People are dying in Sri Lanka, Brazil and Australia :(

Often I get into one or two pieces and for a few weeks I mix and match them with everything and anything in my wardrobe. A bit like newly found music which I also compulsively loop through my headphones until I have finally had enough :D

oh man I love this outfit! And there is nothing wrong with having a few favorite items, I have to resist wearing the same shirt and cardigan every day because they are so cozy.
