I'm pulling the ol' sweatshirt-over-blazer combo because my usual cardigan routine wasn't going to cut it in the cold today. I wish it were warm enough to show you the detail on this dress, which is super pretty and fits really nicely because the kind people at eshakti let you customize the fit, length, sleeve style, or pretty much any other measurement you want on your garments.
P.S. I hope my American friends are enjoying MLK day--Christopher and I are both planning on re-reading "Letter from a Birmingham Jail" to celebrate the day; if you care to join, here's the full text.

That dress looks gorgeous!! I'm totally a fan of your sweatshirt blazer combo - in my opinion, no-one does it better!! I hope you're not too cold today hun!!! XOXOX
Cute! I love sweatshirts under blazers.
I do not have MLK day off. Nathan says that's racist, but I work for a wonderful company in an industry where we just need to be in today. BUT Nathan has the day off and is taking me out to lunch. So it's not all bad.
I love love love a hoodie blazer combo. So classy casual!

The turquoise tights are so unexpected and so cool. I especially like how the color is mimicked on the inside of the hoodie.
I love the hoodie underneath the tweed jacket, and the ruffled detail on the dress! You are queen of layering :) I also really love how the v-neck of the dress lets us see your pretty necklace!

LOVE today's outfit. Everything totally works (in my humble opinion ;) And thanks for the link, that is what my husband and I are going to read tonight! :)
I have never thought of pairing a hoodie and a blazer, but now I absolutely must steal this look.

as a former grad student, i have an important question: do you always dress this cute even on days you're just studying?
cause i used to never get out of my sweatpants during really tough weeks. or even just moderately tough weeks.
anyway, i'm super impressed. and i'm wearing sweatpants.

cute and little
I really like the preppy chicness of this outfit! Though you look a little chilly.
It is so awesome that you guys actually celebrate Dr. King's legacy and not just the day off (although, don't get me wrong, that part is pretty sweet too). Thanks for sharing the link - and the sentiment - with your readers :)
And to top it off, you look super-cool. I am a huge fan of your blazer-over-hoodie combo, it looks so cozy but still tailored. I can't wait to see more of that dress too.
