Winter madness is officially setting in (it's approximate to cabin fever but lasts from about January till March) and I feel like this week's super gray drab outfits were just making it worse, so I was pretty much dying for some color this morning, which might explain why I look like I burst from a Crayola box but I couldn't care less because I feel 100% more cheerful now. It's hard to tell from these photos, but the pattern on the skirt actually has lines of teal, so the tights aren't just a non sequitor. It's the last weekend before classes start, so I'm trying to make the most of it by doing what any nerd does: cramming as much reading as I can into my brain before I get sidetracked by teaching and grading. I hope you have a terrific weekend! xo

Bright colors always cheer me up. I swear my mustard-y yellow cardigan has been my go-to for pick-me-ups when I start falling into winter greys.

That's such a beautiful combination, I think even if the skirt didn't have the teal stripes the tights would look fantastic with the ensemble anyway.

I love the pop of color (on top of the other colors) with the tights. This whole outfit would get anyone out of the winter black and grey doldrums! Love it!

I love the pop of turquoise with the tights. You look colorful, but in a very good way! Sometimes winter needs a bit of a pick me up!

Love the burgundy and teal color combo. :) I agree, I definitely feel a lot more cheerful when I wear color. We don't have a white winter here in Hawaii, but sometimes I wish we did. The snow on our volcano tops don't really count. hee hee.

Hope you're enjoying your weekend!

xx Love & Aloha
