Christmas Photography Part I

Christmas Photography Part I

Christmas Photography Part I

Works Cited
top: h&m (gift from sister)
pants: gap
necklace and bracelet: borrowed from family
wedges: target

Without my trusty photographer, I've had to cajole my family to take my pictures for the last few days. They each have their own quirks when it comes to photography. My sister took these, among about 50 others as she alternately squatted and leapt around the room, all the while crying out like an America's Next Top Model photographer, "Beautiful! Beautiful! The camera loves you! It loves you!!" Needless to say, half of the photos were blurry or sideways, or my expression was half-dubious, half-giggling. Tomorrow: my mother behind the camera.

Your family's clearly got a great accessories closet. I'm peering at the bracelet, thinking, Where do I get me one of those! It's great to see how jewelry can make a simple top sing. xo

Another outfit I want to recreate IMMEDIATELY. Your family has good taste! The story about your sister made me laugh. It's why my husband is banned from taking my picture anymore.

This outfit is so elegant!! I'd put up with a silly photographer if she gave me a great top like that. ;) And I don't know if those wedges were a recent purchase or not but I'm totally looking for them at Target..

It is funny how crazy people get when they shoot pictures. Thankfully they are doing it without fuss.

Wow - I *love* this outfit, like l-o-v-e!

It seems a little different from your usual style, but it looks awesome! I'm a massive fan of the casual baggy top and black skinny trousers look!

Much love,

Haha so cool that all your family members play photographer for you! :) My Mum always says "I'm not good at it, use the self-timer dear!"

I love the outfit, it's simple but cute and chic! The fit of this sweater is great!

I really love those Target wedges - they look great with the skinny Gap pants. I assume those slacks are from the Black Magic collection? I tried on several cuts and fell in love with them and then went to Target and found an almost identical pair for like $20, it was like my own little Christmas miracle!

That's pretty hilarious and super-sweet. I have that same top in brown from H&M, but somehow it didn't look nearly as sophisticated when I wore it. Taking notes...

I am way too awkward to ask my family for help, I feel really shy about it and have because of this no photo's of me, which sucks. Even if the angles are funny and most of the images were blurry at least you had fun :D

i love those wedges! and i've had to resort to my brother taking my photos. today was the third time i asked him and he goes, "wait...i'm going to have to take your picture...every day?" i think i'm gonna have to start asking other family members...:P

I like this different look on you - very elegant. The loose fitting shirt looks great with the skinny pants. I'd say you pulled off capri quite well in this.
I like the accessories in this, too!
