Guess what? I'm giving myself a quiet pat on the back because for four days in a row, I've abstained from belting at the waist. Maybe these ruffled cardigans exacerbate my accessories-phobia and have contributed to the four-day stretch without a belt, but I'm still secretly proud of myself for breaking my well-worn habits.
It's the little things, right? Hope you have a good weekend! xo.

I'm on the search from some maroon tights. I'll need to remind myself in 25 days or so that yours are exactly what I want.
Oooh wow! I really like this version of the sweater. I love that you put it with burgundy tights. It has a great design to facilitate going beltless, because the ruffles go in at the waist and then flare back out to the hip, creating that visual V, where you usually won't find it with a cardigan. Super pretty lady!
Whenever I belt a cardigan the boy points at my chest awkwardly and says, "Are you sure it's supposed to be all the way up there?"

Ooooh, this sweater matches the leaves behind you just perfectly. You are the picture of fall here.
you seriously have the cutest sweaters!! and i really like your boots too!
I saw your feature over at KendiEveryday...well said! I really like the color combination you have going on here. And I'm definitely one of those people who buy things in multiple colors if it's an item I love, so I won't judge you :)Keep up the great remixing!
I love that sweater... No wonder you have two! And I think I'm going to have to try that maroon color for tights... It looks so versatile!
Love the color combo Tania. Those tights are my favorite!
i've seen these tights on every fashionable girl and i want some!
This ruffled cardi is so adorable and has just the perfect colour! I love the dress too!
loooooooooove this color combo!!! and ruffles are my fav thing ever, so this outfit is deemed an A+ winner!!! :)
hahaha! GOOD FOR YOU! I am so failing at that right now. I wear the same weaved brown belt EVERY. DAY. It's getting a little pathetic. Way to break free from the habit!! whoo hoo! I'm giving you a LOUD pat on the back :)
You're a remixing genius, girl! And I love the color combo, here. I've been trying not to belt, too... and haven't all week! Although, I'm only on #3, while most are on #5! I'm trying HARD to step out of my box, though!
Really think this is my fave on you. I absolutely love that color combo and need those tights!
I loved Kendi's feature on you! :) This outfit is super cute, and I've got to say, as a Virginia Tech graduate/huge Hokie fan, I have a great appreciation for mixing any shades of orange and maroon.
I know what you mean about the accessories habits. It's probably good that I'm on a shopping ban or I would have bought a black belt at LOFT yesterday...one that I already own in brown. :)
That cardigan is perfection. And I love the color pairing! Great outfit!
That sweater is fantastic. I want to have two of it too.
last time i was in J. Crew they had a jillion of those sweaters on clearance in every color imaginable. you are seriously making me regret not scooping up one. or four.
This outfit is so cute, I really want to put an outfit like this together!
Awesome colors, and awesome ruffles!
Cheers,
poet
You are like a picture of autumn in this outfit! Love your boots!
i love the rich colors of this outfit and it seems perfect for the fall weather. i've never considered maroon tights before, but after seeing your outfit i know i need some!

I love this outfit! I can see no problem with owning two of that sweater - it's freaking adorable!!
Love the fall coloring of this outfit - and how you offset it with the blue and white dress! And gotta love the ruffled cardigan, right? :)
Also, great interview at Kendi's blog today! I love how you compare the remix to revising a paper - not an analogy I had thought of before, but works so perfectly!
Small Time Style
So loving the colours :) Great outfit!
Happy weekend!
Love it! Such pretty autumn colors. :)
I just found your blog through Kendi, and I LOVE it - you and your outfits are so sweet! I'm following! :)
The brown, blue and burgundy mix here is so pretty.

That cardigan is so cute, I'm not surprised you have two. I'd buy one in every colour, given the chance.
LOVE THIS SWEATER!!!

I just found your blog on collegefashion...can I say that you are the cutest fashion blogger ever! Your clothes and outfit choices are actually realistic for a small town college girl like me. I will definitely be back for inspiration!!
LOVE this outfit! Also, the blog is an enjoyable read too. As a self-proclaimed cardigan junkie, I like your style. :)
The color combination in this outfit is really pretty. :)
Those cranberry tights look awesome! I wouldn't have thought of pairing them with a cardi that color... but you totally pull it off! You look great!
Very cute. The ruffles on the sweater act like a nice belt on their own - at least for what I belt cardigans for: making the waist look nice and small!
That cardigan may be the cutest thing I've ever seen. Adore the ruffles!
Love this outfit! It's my favorite one yet of your remixes!

I have the same sweater in that color! It's my favorite!
I'm the same way- when I find something I love, I always buy two!! It's such a sweet cardi too.
but of course we have sweaters in two different colors! :) i do too haha. i love the blue and brown together. you're making me want more blues in my wardrobe
This dress is very cute on you...it just seems like the essence of your style! I'm having so much fun watching you remix. Thanks for the inspiration :)

I love the pattern of your dress! Congrats on not belting your outfits :)
Just Better Together
I love the use of complimentary colours, the blue just pops out next to the browns and dark reds which is great because normally such a mild blue might be swamped.
I saw those boots and thought for a minute they were mine, then I realised mine have a bigger heel, still for a moment I did wonder if my boots were playing with other people when I wasn't around.
I liked how you talked about remixing over at Kendi's!Ruffles is your statement look to me!!!
Haha. You're like a belt addict! I do love when you belt at the waist, but it's good to change it up ever so often. And he colours of this outfit are perfect for fall - the cardigan looks like a beautiful burnt orange.
Hey I'm a new reader - I saw your post on Kendi Everyday, and now I'm looking back at your outifts. I have gotten some serious outfit inspriation from you! I'm so excited to try some of your layering ideas! The boots, the cardigans, the belts...right up my alley. Love your style!
perfect sweater-bracelets-boots match! ;)
I love that ruffly sweater! This is such a perfect outfit for fall.
Funny that you're not belting, because I didn't start wanting to belt things till I found this website.
gorgeous, love the fall colors. im trying to break my bad habits of jeans+top=outfit. its working ok, except on days where i just have NO IDEA. this is hard!
you look adorable. cute dress!
Perfect for autumn! I love maroon tights at the moment. :)
I didn't know your blog and I just fall in love with it... books, studies and clothes all mixed together!!! LOVE IT! Following, right now :)
Work it out! This is a great look--the colors are pure fall perfection.
