Nine Lives

Nine Lives

Nine Lives

Nine Lives
(very sleepy jet-lagged face)

Works Cited
skirt: anthro
button-up: jeremy's
sweater: j crew
tights: gap
shoes: target
belt: j crew
locket: camp lost and found

This weekend, I was miraculously lucky enough to attend a James Joyce conference in Dublin, and I arrived home late last night. I had a great time but I feel a little like I've been run over by a car and am badly wishing I actually did have nine lives--or at least nine more hours of sleep under my belt. But the show--and my classes--must go on, so today called for bright colors, warm layers and a locket I stole from the lost and found at the end of summer camp. Finders keepers, right?

I have a locket that looks similar to that from J. Crew. I can't tell what is on yours but mine has an owl on it and I'm obsessed with it!

beautiful outfit (I can't believe you're jetlagged and still looking so incredible). locket is definitely a keeper.

didn't you just love Dublin?

Wait, WHAT? You flew to Ireland and back for the weekend? HOLY CRIKEY. You look damn good for having recently experienced international travel. Or did I misunderstand that?

I love the blue shoes with this. Super adorbs.

A) I'm in love with this grellow outfit. B) DUBLIN? What an awesome weekend. And Adam and I are going there for Thanksgiving week, so please pass along any recommendations!

Oh, I love Jeremy's. I keep forgetting to shop there, there are often gems.

I feel like I need a mustard cardigan after this whole remix is over.

wow, Ireland sounds like such a cool place to visit!

Lovely outfit today - your locket is darling. Hope you get a good night sleep tonight :)

yes, i flew to dublin and back for the weekend--it was a completely ridiculous thing to do but also AMAZING.
if i didn't have to teach, i'd still be there :)

Yes, is this sweater mustard colored or the Burnished Olive color from Jcrew? I love it with the navy and crisp white! Looks so great!

I just replenished my "yellow cardigan" collection after wearing the same two for far too long. I love the color yellow, but cannot wear it directly against my olive skin tone, so cardigans work nicely :o)

Did you really fly to and from Ireland for a James Joyce conference?? You're not punking us, right?? That is AMAZING! Because you do not look like you were on a plane for many hours of travel!

Totally in love with this outfit - so feminine, pretty, classy, classic - the silhouette and details in both color and texture all work perfectly together to create an amazing look! Love it!

I'm so jealous that you got to go to a Joyce conference this week -- the former 19th/20th century literature scholar in me felt her heart go pitter-patter when I read this. Hope it was a wonderful weekend!

That colour looks so good on you, it makes you glow.
Also, Dublin...I'm just across the water from Ireland, I'm in Liverpool...and I've never been to Dublin...I feel kind of ashamed now, you travelled across the world and I can't be bothered travelling not that many miles lol.
