I wore this on Friday to feast on leftovers and take the plane home. But because I didn't get a photo of it (and it was darn cute), I'm wearing it again today to tackle lots of grading and reading. On an unrelated note, I finally got my stubbornly-straight hair to hold a curl, using this tutorial by one of my blogging BFF's. Now I feel a bit like Little Bo Peep, with big curls and a polka-dot dress.

I never would have thought that wearing a plain white long sleever under a frilly, polka dotted dress would "work." But seriously, this looks awesome. It is one of my favorite outfits that you've ever worn. I think the leggings plus boots plus socks plus belt tie together a look that, without them, would look seriously confused. Definitely bookmarking this one so I can try to copy it!

And good luck with your grading!

What a great remix! I love how you've updated this dress for the cooler temps without losing its relaxed sweetness. I definitely agree with Liz that it's the combination of these accessories that makes the outfit so special. Also: your hair! Swoon!

Happy Thanksgiving!

You have just given me great inspiration for my own little polka dot dress ! Although I am not the proud owner of such fabulous boots. Maybe I will find some deeply on sale like you did one day :)

That dress is just darling, and I love how you styled it here. It strikes me as Little Bo Peep Goes to College. Very cute.

Good luck with the grading! I have stacks to work my way through as well....

So cute! Love your outfit :) Yay for rewearing. I rarely take outfit shots on the day. I just collect them up and turn back time over the weekend :D

I love that dress! It's great to see some floaty material, as most of what I have been wearing lately has been heavy layering materials. I also love your hair--it looks very natural and pretty. :)

I've always wanted to curl my hair with a straightener but all I manage to do is make a weird crease in the middle - boo.

SUPER CUTE BOOTS, I love the whole look all together :)

Awww, you look so cute! Man, I'm kind of amazed that the Clothed Much hair tutorial worked for your hair. I think you and I have pretty similar stick straight hair; though you probably have more of it. The curl looks great on you!

I really love how your hair turned out! And this is such a great outfit, I love the white tee layered under the frilly dress!

i love that dress! and your hair is darling. i think the layers (leggings, socks, tee) make the dress work without making it too "sweet."

I grab that dress every time I go to H&M and then reluctantly put it back thinking I'll never wear it, but you make it look so cute. I may have to reconsider.
