Day 2 of the no-shopping rule makes me remember what I felt during the last 30 for 30--the momentary desire to rebel. Not that I shop very often, but being told never to do so kind of makes the contrary part of me want to shop. What for, I have no idea, but luckily, I think this is just a phase. Soon I'll be back to my regular goody two-shoes self. Speaking of good behavior, I spent all day reading--pretty much every waking moment--in preparation for an upcoming conference, so comfort was key and these cords were just the ticket (again).

I'm not a big shopper either, but it seems like once I put that restriction there... BAM! I feel like a caged animal.
Especially when I see adorable sweaters and comfy but flattering cords like yours. Sometimes reading style blogs is my window shopping, really.

I know what you mean! My boyfriend got me a gift card to Urban on Friday and so of course I had to run out and spend it before Monday! The idea of not being able to shop makes me want to read every sale email that comes into my inbox even more than I did before.

Cute! The yellow and gray combination is so great. I think I have the same LOFT cords included in my 30 for 30 - now I'm coveting something yellow and stripey for the top. But: must. not. shop.
I'm kind of obsessed with this cardigan...you can't go wrong with Anthropologie. I'm sure I will be having many casual outfits like this during my 30 for 30, considering finals week is less than a month away. You did a great job of striking the balance between comfortable and cute!

It's the half-yearly sale at Nordstrom right now and it was so hard last night to only peek at all the good stuff! The no shopping will be the hardest part! I have to do everything in my power not to cheat! :)

Such a cute outfit! Yellow is my favorite color, and those cords look super comfy. I wish I had a pair to throw into my mix. I'm already making a list of things I think I need once the shopping ban is lifted. But then I am a total shopaholic, so I'm always doing that!
There is so much I like about this outfit. First, the combo of grey and yellow is one of my favorites. Second, the detail on your cardi is wonderful.

This time of year is SO INTENSE in grad school. It amazes me every semester. Sure sure, read a book in two days. Read 5 articles on the next day. Of course that's definitely human, and not completely insane.
