The midwest has been having its usual inexplicable weather patterns and I wore this (yesterday, actually) when it was weirdly balmy. I can't believe I'm going without tights at the end of November, but I'm not complaining. What I might complain about, however, was the wind. I looked like Cousin Itt by the time we were done. I only barely escaped with my sense of dignity. Just a few of the ridiculous outtakes:

Ridiculously Windy

Oh, gosh. This outfit is AWESOME. Seriously wonderful. I have a similar skirt to yours, and now I'm going to have to purchase a stripy top to wear with it.

Well, once 30x30 is over, at least.

I love it. The necklace really makes it pop. I've seen your skirt on several different blogs now, I am dying to own one!

I think the outtakes are my favorite. You can still see the outfit (super cute, btw), but your hair shows some serious in still photos. Pretty cool... And only a little entertaining. :)

I love this outfit! We happen to have several of the same pieces in our wardrobe and I love to see how you style them so I can copy (ahem, borrow) your ideas. For example, I have this same target shirt (it's been really versatile) and now I can't wait to pair it with something khaki. Thanks!

oh man, I hear you about the wind. I live in St. Louis, so I had the same weather yesterday, and my hair is CRAZY in my pictures. Haha, I might not even post them because it's so insane!

Your outfits are always so perfectly simple. I love them! How are you without tights?! I'm in the midwest and it's snowing, snowing, snowing today (and raining/windy yesterday).... boooo to winter!

I am totally jealous it is ZERO here! I'd love to be wearing your chic little outfit instead of my layers!

It is unseasonably warm in VA too, but I'm not complaining!! I can't stand the cold - it puts me into an instant bad mood!

I adore this outfit - It is so simple in its pieces, yet the overall effect exudes a beautiful aesthetic that is uniquely yours - Love it!

As unhelpful as the wind was, that second shot is fantastic! I feel like Tyra on America's Next Top Model telling you that you braved the elements to get an amazing photo! Well done model and photographer.

great look! don't the supermodels make wind look so sexy? in real life its just a big pain in the butt, but fun nonetheless. i like how your hair has that little windblown quality in those pics. :)

i wander, i wonder

First of all, you could be a model. No joke. And instead of saying, "second.. blah blah," I'll just keep going... LOVE this outfit, and it's weirdly balmy here, too. But I'm almost on the coast, so I guess it's not that weird. I want some COLD weather, though.

Thanks for sharing those outtakes. Cousin Itt's looking hot these days!

Ha! I love it. I love wind when I'm inside looking out, but it creates a lot of hair frustration when I'm outside!
