How Do I Wear Thee? Let Me Count the Ways...

It's rainy here today and I am grading a big stack of papers while wearing argyle socks and a Hanes tee, so I thought I'd post about my favorite dress, the one I'd wear every day if I could. I've posted about it a bunch, but I've probably worn it just as often off the blog and on the weekends. Here are some ways I've worn it.

Loft Dress1

With boots, tights, sweaters, and stripes in the fall and winter.

Loftdress2

With oranges, neutrals, browns and reds.

Loftdress3

With flat shoes, big shoes, button-ups, and pops of color.

Loftdress4

And layered unexpectedly, over patterned blouses and under lemon yellow.

P.S. Do you like posts like these? I enjoy putting them together and would be happy to do more once in a while if they aren't dull :)

I DO like posts like these. They give me ideas about MY grey jumper. I think though that all of the academics should post photos of how they REALLY dress for paper grading. :)

OO love them! you've cleverly shown how quality pieces from a modest classic and capsule closet is better ie versatile then masses of seperates you hardly use(not great for the planet).

I love this type of post. It definitely shows me what an investment I could have in a similar piece since I love the reiterations of it. Some places, you can't even recognize that it's the same dress. Now that's a classic!

I like this post too! I was actually on the hunt for an all-purpose dress over the weekend, inspired by all the ways you've worn your AP dress :-)

PS I love the symmetry of your final set of pictures--same pose, same dress, different days and outfits.

this is a great post! i love it. what a perfect dress for you. i've got a black jumper in my closet that i bought a few years ago, and i wore it the other day (here). seeing this post made me think of how wasteful it is for me to have left that versatile dress hanging in my closet unworn for so long! i resolve to wear it more. much, much more. :)

Posts like this are great! I typically get stuck wearing something in the exact same way everytime I put it on, but these help me to see other options in my closet and how creative you are with one piece!

I like this kind of post a lot! It's so much fun to look at all the different ways to style up such a simple dress, it's very inspiring.
My favorite combo is with the yellow sweater, I remember seeing that post a few weeks ago and I quickly went through my closet trying to find any hint of gray and yellow, but I don't really have any. I guess I need to expand the color selection in my closet. :)
