Every time I wear this dress, I get tons of compliments. Even though I don't think turquoise is very flattering on me, I wear it just so I can bask in the glow of all the "great dress" comments I get. I'm such a sucker for compliments, I'd wear a giant lizard costume if I was guaranteed to get compliments on it.

In other news, I thrifted these wedges for $3 the other day! At first, I thought "Woohoo, these are cute! Why would someone give them up?" Then I wore them for eight hours and answered my own question: because the soles are made of concrete. Anyone have suggestions for good insoles? I think I'm in the market...

I have to disagree with you; turquoise seems to suit you quite beautifully! I love it paired with the caramel colored touches. That really brings out warmth in your skin and hair. Black would probably have been too harsh but this looks great on you! <-Now get busy basking!

sorry about the uncomfy shoes - hope you find some good insoles to help!
I also think turquoise looks great on you - you look gorgeous today :)
I wore that dress yesterday (but didn't get photos)!
I will also join the chorus here and say that you are wrong. You look great in turquoise! The dress looks fab with that belt and those newly thrifted wedges!
Hmm, I would probably go with Dr. Scholl's. That dress looks great on you! I won the same dress through a giveaway but I havent worn it yet because its HUGE on me and I have no idea what to do with it.
Well compliments are definitely deserved when you wear this dress...it looks great on you!
Love this color!
Shabby Apple has such beautiful dresses!! That dress fits you so nicely that's probably why you get the compliments cuz it looks great! Oooo yeah that's a drawback of wedges. I'd say go to Payless Shoe store they should have some good insoles for lesser money! Happy weekend!!
Wow, adorable!!
Beautiful dress! I love that color & it looks amazing on you!
Love this lovely color on you!
I laughed like hell out of your 'lizard costume' comment. Shoes and belt matching is exceptional!
This is an awesome outfit, I love it!
Also, pretty much any Dr. Scholl's and you'll be good to go!
I am pretty sure those are the same wedges I have. Are they the brand MIA? If so, they get more comfortable with a little more wear. At first, I found them to be uncomfortable, but now I love mine!
Love the wedges. You must post pictures if you ever do come across a lizard costume. I'm going to agree with the recommendations of Dr. Scholl's inserts.

I think that the turquoise flatters you, and that dress is indeed great.
Love the dress! I actually own several dresses involving turquoise, since it is such a fun color. It looks great on you!
As to shoe inserts, Dr. Scholl's are good, but there are some decent generic brands too. I usually find that anything with a gel component and/or arch support works better than just squishy foam.
Hush your mouth, lady, you are RADIANT in turquoise!
You look lovely. I think that color makes you look radiant. That belt is great too. As for insoles, I was just saying that I badly want a pair of orthotics. Let us know if you find anything that works:)
um, gorgeous! That is all.
Haha, good enough -- Love the dress!
And for three dollars, getting some comfy insoles is a small extra cost.
Chic on the Cheap
I love this dress -- I think turquoise does look awesome on you! It looks great with your skintone.
I hope you find some good insoles. I have yet to find any narrow enough for my feet...
It's a sophisticated look.
It is an awesome dress ^_^
I love the tie-neck of the dress, and have to agree with the other folks who think turquoise looks great on you!
As for insoles, I don't think Dr Scholls can be beat - depending on how much extra room there is in the shoe, you can get very thin ones, or pads for just the toebed, or arch, or heel. Get them at Target if you can - they're much cheaper there than at CVS/Walgreens type places.

I love the padded insoles that you can just stick in your shoes. They're the best.
This outfit is so flattering on you!
thank you so much for the suggestions! i just bought some dr scholls and you're right--they are like a miracle!
SUPERFEET insoles!! they're a little pricey ($30 a pair), but they mold to your feet, and are amazing! I've had the same pair for four years, and I wear them every single day!
Anyway, you look great in that color, you should wear it more often.
dr. scholl's right? maybe that's the old go to. i read about one called, Fast Flats, for her made by dr. scholls. good luck! love the added belt to the dress!
Shabby Apple dresses are the greatest. I love the neck tie and the colour -- and I personally think turquoise looks swell on you, but I'm of the "screw the rules, I love this colour and I'm wearing it!" school of thought. :D
(I've been stalking this one lately myself.)

Dr. Sholls is going to be your new best friend. They have great insoles that taper down to nothing at the toe so you won't be squeezed in to your shoe.
Wow - You look stunning in this! Very classic but yet still modern! Love the pairing of the camel/honey brown with that bright turquoise!
Ps - Your outfits this week have been so awesome! I've loved every one! Way to rock it girl!
Small Time Style
That dress IS gorgeous. I love the color and the cute bow.
You look great! I use Dr.Souls for her (the full foot gel). It works WONDERS! But sometimes it makes the shoe half a size smaller...
Just Better Together
The dress looks gorgeous on you!
you look great in turqoise! this dress was made for you :)

i agree! turquoise is definitely a good color on you!
wow, what a beautiful dress, I love the bow :D Sure you look pretty.
To echo everyone else, turquoise is superbly lovely on you. I love it with the caramel brown details.
I loved the color of the dress!
Love this dress on you. As soon as I saw the picture I figured it must be a Shabby Apple creation. Lovely! - Katy
This dress is really fabulous! I also had a terrible time with my new pretty and black flats, I think they hate me =/
