Big news entirely unrelated to style: Christopher and I moved in together this weekend! It was the longest but also one of the most fun weekends--and I'm thrilled to be co-habitating with my handsome new roommate.

Twenty

I am also ludicrously excited to be dressed in actual clothes, instead of the cut-offs and chacos I've been wearing for three straight days while we hauled boxes, rearranged bookshelves and made endless runs to the hardware store. Wearing this bright orange skirt will never fail to make me feel bright and cheerful, even on the darkest days. Not that I need help in the cheer department today :)

Congrats on moving in together - big relationship step! I'm excited for both of you!

And as usual, great accessorizing using minimal items.

Ohh congrats on cohabitating! Does this diminish your closet space? (she asks with a side of horror) This outfit is very cool and so very you (as far as I can say that via your blog). I've been enjoying your 30 for 30 challenge a lot, especially your ability to maintain your casual yet polished style throughout.

I loved those first few years of living together! It was so fun for me to feel like I really knew my partner but then to find out there was so much more to learn about him after we were sharing space 24/7. I even look back fondly on the time we spent learning how to adjust to one another so we could avoid driving each other nuts. I hope this time is as fun for you two as it was for us!

And as a blogreader, I can't help but feel personally excited for your cohabitation news because now it means your photographer is live-in! Awesome! : )

If I could steal one thing from your closet, it would be this skirt! I love it every time you wear it and it makes me realize I have a hole in my wardrobe where a knit, fiery orange skirt ought to be.

Aw, this is so cute! I love that belt to pieces. This is like a classy, cuter version of the outfit I wore today (for some reason mine involved Hello Kitty). <3
