Today's outfit feels so me. I love the festive color of this skirt, the combination with my favorite gray tee and the little extras--shiny ring, favorite earrings, skinny belt. Just the kind of simple, summery look I adore.

This last photo makes me laugh because Christopher teased me, "okay, now the blog pose--pigeon-toed and head down" but hey, it works!
P.S. Blogger is being persnickety about comments this morning, so if yours hasn't shown up on the necklace giveaway, please enter it again!

That yellow get me every time, I love it!
Why does that pose work so well I wonder? I think I need more smiley pics my posts are looking somber!
I hope blogger fixes this soon. The comments are there bc we'r getting them in the e-mail announcements, but for example a comment that happened at 6 yesterday just showed up today, I'm missing so many :(
OOooo I love the yellow and my favorite shirt is a gray one almost just like that too. ^_^
Such a lovely chic, simplistic look! The belt really makes this outfit, you look so nice!!

Ugh I know. Blogger and comments are not cooperating with me either! Love that skirt. I really wish I had sewing abilities.

Mine's being persnickety too. So annoying. This is so pretty in every way--especially the yellow. So GREAT!
Cute look!
Haha, about the pigeon-toed thing. I remember that a long time ago, soon after we met, David told me I had "pigeon feet". I had no idea what it meant, but the way he said it sounded cute, so I just replied "thanks", haha. He then asked me if I knew what that was and I had to admit I didn't, hehe.
Tight hug!
Blogger has been persnickety off an on for the last couple of weeks about comments, if you ask me. Come on Blogger!
You look adorable! I meant to tell you that I loved outfit One as well. Now that I'm thinking of it, this gray tee over the white skirt could look pretty spiffy too! I can't wait to see!
You look lovely :) This outfit has made me realise just how nice yellow and grey can look together so if I can dig up something appropriate in my wardrobe, I may give it a go.
love the skirt! I´ve got a yellow skirt that length as well. goes with a lot of different shirts and it is such a happy colour!
I love this outfit! I have a favourite grey tee too, haha. :D
I want to make a mustard yellow skirt now. :)
the color of your outfit and the combination. nicely done :)
Cute! I love the saturated color of that skirt! I think I might use that tutorial to guide me in my next sewing project.
Grr...the comment thing...I'm guilty as anyone of the head down pigeon toed stance...and not smiling. Never, ever smile no matter what!
In other news, that tee is the perfect grey.
I love that mustard yellow skirt! Such a great color, and I love how you've paired it with the grey tee.
Love this outfit - grey + yellow = one of my fav color combos! I'm so in awe that you sewed that skirt yourself. I wish I was that crafty! Yay for day 2!

I love the bright yellow toned down with the grey and black accessories.
And yeah, that last pose is utilized by all of us 'cause like you said...hey, it works!
Haha I know the pose too well. I just don't really like showing my face on the blog so that's the post that I revert to! :D Maybe it's time to switch things up again haha.

Same Page Notion
Love that yellow skirt, and I love that you used the word persnickety in this post! haha
Amazing skirt! Not everyone could pull off that color, but you do it so well. Good use of persnickety! I've been having issues with the comments as well.
cute! is the skirt cotton poplin? Even though I already have several yards of fabric with intended purposes, I feel like buying more next weekend! Seersucker stripes is on the list, but I'm also thinking something mustard-y. :)
It does work! So cute. I finally got my photog to take me outside! Wooo! Day 2: lookin good!
Hahaha, the last pose works for me too, hahaha =) You look pretty and nerdy! I can't wait until my skirt is here =) Maybe I'll look beautiful just like you do!

I posted a picture of me having the strawberry ice cream (not the milk shake). You'll see it under a delicious marshmallow cover and the pistachio/ chocolate balls. Did you have yours?

@tastymoog--it's linen!! it works much better than any other fabric i've found for these skirts. let me know if you make one!
love the combo of that mustard yellow with gray! Never would have thought to do that.
Really cute look! Just curious, how many of these skirts do you think you have? I was just wondering, since you post outfits with them often (it's not at all a bad thing--they're so cute).
That shade of yellow is amazing. I would never think of wearing (or making) a skirt in that color - way to be adventurous! Also the black belt is a great detail.
@theanthropologieconnoisseur: eeek, i have made a lot of these!! i think i have maybe five total now--yipes! i've given some to friends, but i still have quite a few. they are so much fun to make i just can't stop...
Oooo I love your yellow skirt!! and I love that it's handmade by you... :)
