To be perfectly honest, today's outfit is a little ho-hum. However, it's scorchingly hot here and even accessories are starting to make me feel toasty. A tank dress and flats, in the slightly edgy combo of navy and black, is simple but feels perfect for a hot day.

Sometimes the simplest of outfits are the best - and I love that you are mixing navy with black! Rules are meant to be broken :) Love it!

This looks comfortable. I know what you mean about accessories in the heat. I'm so hot these days it's really hard to put on anything but a light dress. Thanks for the comments on my blog. I'll think up some way we can work together soon.

I wish I had a cute and simple black dress to add to the challenge. You can mix and match and make it look so different! And I agree when it's hot, I want to wear something easy and light!

I like it! It's perfect for summer and sometimes you just don't need to have a bunch of accessories on you when it's hot out. This reminds me of one of the looks in the most recent J.Crew catalog.

The simplicity is beautiful, not ho-hum at all. You definitely don't need to have a lot going on to look stylish, and I think the tank dress fits you so well the piece can stand alone.

It may be simple, but I really like it. Navy looks really good on you - we don't usually see you in the darker colours, but it's very flattering.
