Eighteen Nineteen

Cheater, cheater pumpkin eater! After a long day of packing boxes, I put on the above outfit to go meet some friends. But after hustling Christopher into the mosquito-swarmed street to take phoos, I had a sudden change of heart. Even though I really liked the outfit I put together, it wasn't what I was in the mood for. So change it was:

I know it's kind of cheating to put up an outfit I ended up not wearing, but I'm keeping them both (gotta get through this 30 for 30)!
All I did was swap out skirt for cut-off shorts, but it made the whole vibe of the outfit feel more relaxed and it was just what I was in the mood for. I'm struck by how much mood affects what I want to wear. On another day, outfit 18 would be just up my alley, but it didn't match my mood last night. Do you dress for your mood, too? Or are you more decisive than me :) ?

I'm constantly changing my mind - what looks great on a hanger the night before is often not what I like in the morning when getting dressed.

I like the second outfit a lot, just so casual and comfy looking.

I always dress for my mood! Whenever I try to plan, it usually fails. Just like my flash photos - I am seriously impressed at how you don't look like a ghost/ridiculous in yours!

I always plan out my outfits the night before and USUALLY stick with them the next morning. But when I do rearrange, it's because I'm just feeling *blah* and need to switch to a more comfy alternative!

I totally dress for my mood. No doubt.

I definitely drss for my mood. I went through 3 outfits this morning, but that was mostly because I was too lazy to iron the first two.

Oh I definitely dress for my mood, and dress to improve my mood or how I'm feeling! Like if I'm feeling sick but not sick enough to stay home all day, I'll try to up the ante so that at least I don't look sick!

Love the stylish comfort of both outfits! I'd wear both in an instant :)

The only time I DON'T dress for my mood is when I'm sick and have to be at work. I'd rather be wearing sweats & a t-shirt but I need to put on real clothes! haha

Both are adorable! I love the neckline on that tank!

Your second look is my summer staple. I love cut-off shorts and a tank with a cardi and flats. By far the most comfortable thing in the world!

I dress for my mood every day and if you could see me every day you would say I'm always on a bad mood, ahahaha, but I do prefer casual clothes. I hate being uncomfortable, so I ALWAYS try to get a safe look, something I'll be sure it's me, it's beautiful, comfortable and safe!

May I say I loved the first look? I think your bracelet just stole my heart! The second outfit is also great, but as I am jealous b/c I cannot wear cut-off shorts, I'll stick with the first! Hahaha, hey, who said I'd have to pick up one? Silly me!

xoxo, I want you to have a great afternoon Tania! <3

I dress for mood as well! What I wear all depends on how I feel. Both outfits are cute =).

The second is definitely better. I can see why you would change after moving and such. I'd want to don some shorts and a free-flowing top too!

I totally dress for my mood. But it's more like casual or dressy today? Pants or no pants?

I totally dress for my mood too. I mean if you're not comfortable in what you're wearing how can you go out and have fun!? :)

I'm not sure that I dress for my mood... Usually, I open my closet door and have a look, and one outfit/piece pops out at me (you know, ray of light, hallelujah chorus... the whole shebang). Once that outfit is in my head, I *have* to wear it, regardless of any practical issues like the weather. It's such a silly, intuitive way of dressing, but it's always exciting! ;)

I think both outfits you've posted look fantastic! It's funny how switching from a skirt to jean shorts completely transforms the top.

Nope, totally a mood dresser! (And a weather dresser, since I walk so much.)

You really make cutoff shorts look good. Amazing.

I love both outfits, and I don't class it as cheating, you still put two great looks together so why not count them both.
