Woohoo, some new items from my 30 for 30! I mentioned on twitter the other day that doing the 30 for 30 is like trying to be Elaine for 30 days. She has the most pared down closet and she does INCREDIBLE things with it!

I liked the colors of this outfit--the burgundy shoes, the neutral belt and (of course) the gray and white. I'm also glad to get these shoes back into rotation--my broken toe is feeling a little bit better these days and it's nice to have the dankso arch support. Yes, another pair of dorky shoes I love!

I've worn this skirt quite a few times already this spring and it's one of my favorites. I dug up the fabric in the bargain bin, so the whole shebang only cost me around $2.50. Pretty awesome.

I really like this look. It's got a little nod to the 90s with the floral pattern skirt and yet it feels totally now. Good job so far with the 30x30.

Love the outfit! I really need to pull out my sewing machine and make some skirts. Yours are always so adorable, and at $2.50 you can't go wrong.

The 30 for 30 has made me realize that I could definitely stand to pare down my closet (and I could survive off a pared down closet as well).

Love love the skirt! I'll have to check out the tutorial. I did one of your tutorials with the elastic waistband and that one turned out great!

Must try to sew a skirt! You all make it seem so easy, all I know is a straight stitch, I don't even know how to change settings! Eek.
I love your blouse by the way :)

I have to say, I really like the pattern on your skirt! I bet if I saw that at a fabric store I would not have picked it up for skirt material, so next time I go fabric shopping I will be more inclined to try out some small floral prints. The colors are especially nice. You wear those Dansko's with so much class!

I love the print in your skirt! It's whimsical and vibrant against the solid colors of your top and cardigan. And those shoes look cute and comfy!
