My summer uniform is going to be pretty dresses, flat shoes, and my bicycle. This light cotton dress completely fits the bill. It only takes two seconds to get dressed in the morning and I feel like the proverbial million Benjamins all day long.
I'm spending the summer reading for my exams in the fall, so things are going to be pretty casual around here for a while (though I might do a little post on business dressing for warm weather, if that would interest people). Here's the back of the dress (I love the crossed straps) and a closer view of the striped pattern.

I agree! Summer dresses are the easiest thing to put on in the morning and undoubtedly will always make you look and feel great. This dress is darling, I love it! Is it still available at Target or is it from another season?

Pretty dress! Do you wear shorts or something underneath your skirts when you ride your bike? I know I always feel a little endangered unless I'm wearing running shorts!

Looks like a great summer uniform! I need to find some good shirt solutions for when the weather really warms up. Thinking about trying some linen, which I've never really done before.

I would LOVE a tutorial on summer business dressing! I'm spending 2 weeks at a summer program that has at least business casual daily, but it's in Virginia in July, and most of my business clothes are for the winter!
