I don't wear shorts too often, but shorts were pretty much mandatory for a weekend of chasing Christopher's ridiculously cute nephews around my backyard. We played wiffeball, devoured ice cream cones, and competed in multiple rounds of hide-and-go-seek. I had so much fun--I'll miss those little monkeys!

Kids are awesome! They always bring us smiles and fun! You look gorgeous and I love your blouse <3
Have a great day! I'm going to the dentist now, wish me luck! Hahaha :)
Sounds like a fun weekend! Love your top!
The shoes are really cute.
You made those shorts!? Or did you shorten a pair of jeans? I've never made short out of my long pants put I did once cut a pair of old jeans short and make a purse out of it, it was pretty cool for an 11 year old haha.. although I think I would still love it today!
Ever since your post about Birkenstocks I have seen them popping up all over the blogosphere in really stylish ways!
I hope your poor toe held up okay with all that running around! I love the top!
I like shorts on you, but I'm most fond of the mirrored aviators. Am I the only fashion blogger on the planet without a pair?!
love everything about this outfit!!!
love it! How's the toe doing?
Park Service shorts!
IMO every summer wardrobe needs a pair.
Lovely look! The shirt is perfect!
Great look - the sandals are wonderful.

That ruffly blouse is one of my faves, and I love how it classes up a simple shorts and sandals ensemble.
The perfect hide-and-seek, chase-and-run-after, eating-ice-cream outfit. Not every backyard should be taken as a runway :)
I love the blouse!
I do like the outfit but I can't believe that not one person has commented on the Imported Swine Research Laboratory sign in the first picture!
perfect outfit for the hot weekend we just had! Love the simplicity of the cream and olive color tones.
I love the offset of the cute frilly blouse with the olive shorts. So J.Crew!
