I got this top in the mail the other day from Hillary, and I already have about six outfits planned around it, so don't get sick of it yet. I love the combination of white, blue, and gold--it feels so crisp and just right for a warm spring day. This jersey skirt was super easy to make because the fabric came in a circle. All I did was hem it and sew on (badly) an elastic. Thanks to my impatient sewing, the elastic was a bit uneven so I used Elaine's tutorial on scarves-as-belts to cover it up in a snap.
Update: in case you were wondering, yes I am definitely wearing a slip under this skirt!

That top is awesome! Summer staple for sure!
I just bought fabric for my first skirt the other day and I'm so excited! Hopefully I'll cut it soon and get started on sewing!
That pin tucked shirt is really awesome and it fits like a glove. The jersey skirt looks lovely. I have fears with white and see-through issues. Are wearing a slip, did you put in a lining, or is the material pretty thick?
Love it!!! That shirt's amazing. I want it! Thanks for the shout-out!!!
