Shabby Apple recently sent over their 90 WPM dress for me to review and I have to say, I've never had an easier job. The dress is gorgeous and the fit is incredibly flattering--it is such a great surprise to wear something thoughtfully designed for women's real bodies. Being a little bit of a conservative dresser, I found the cut and length of the dress just right and I love the sweet bow at the neck.

I'm thinking next time I'll belt a cardigan or v-neck sweater over it and let the bow flop out.

Okay, enough gushing. Turquoise is a sort of exciting color for me (though evidently it is the color for spring) so I had a bit of trouble figuring out what to wear with this. I think in the spring, I'll pair it with my beige J. Crew belt and some light brown sandals. This time, I went with my trusty black and these great blue-gray tights which add some neutral depth to the color palette. But I did, for a second, think about wearing magenta tights with it (what has gotten into me?!). What do you think? Color overkill?

The dress is extremely flattering.
I don't think it would be color overkill because the tights would only be peeking out between the boots and the dress.
gorgeous dress & colour!
Yes, that´s the type of thing we want to see on the street. Great combination of belt and shoes, and this time the tights are totally fine ;-)
Cheers,

PS: blame me for always suggesting things: did you think about wearing a colourful necklace?
The dress looks gorgeous on you. I've perused Shabby Apple a few times and am definitely considering several of their dresses for the future.
This dress is gorgeous and the color is fantastic!! Love it!
The dress looks beautiful on you! I like the blue-gray tights to add a bit of "neutral-depth" (great phrase - I did something similar the other day but didn't have that nice description.)
I also think the magenta tights could work nicely.

Love the dress, its fabulous. I like how you styled it with the belt.
I think that magenta tights would look great, especially if you balanced it out with a neutral coat or cardigan (charcoal or heather grey?) It fits like it was made for you.
Looking great as usual.

I love the pop of the color. I also liked your boots. Aah so great.
I LOVE turquoise -- everything!!! Beige would look great...what makeup would you do? I know this isn't a makeup blog -- but i love pinks with turquoise, but I also love red -- red lips would be BOLD! so maybe not with beige belts and shoes..but for this winter look for sure!
