Today, I wish my photography got the second chance that this shirt did. The pouring down snow posed a few problems for photographs, and I didn't realize my feet were cut off until I was safely inside. Oh well, you can use your imagination to conjure up my toes, right?

I wanted to remix the shirt Elaine sent me earlier this week and try to dress it up (Tuesday I paired it with cords and converses). I love the way it looks against a black high-waisted skirt. The proportions and the sophisticated combination of navy and black made this perfectly teaching appropriate.
And the snow today is so BEAUTIFUL! I am now luxuriating inside reading Edith Wharton while I watch it blizzard outside--lovely and cozy.

I'm a bike-riding bookworm in DC trying to make better use of a sometimes-vanilla closet. You can read a little more about this blog

I'm sure your toes are stylish too!
I do really like the navy and black combination especially with the tights - which look grayish blue in the pic. I am so bad at remixing clothes, but you do it fantastically - both outfits look stylish but completely different.

Ahhh, so you got the shirt I wanted!! You snatched it up moments before I tried to :o) Dibs if you ever get tired of it! You look super cute.

I just adore the two shades of blue against that deep black. And also adore your smile. ;)
Okay these pictures are just awesome! The second one especially... you look so caught in the moment :) I also love this outfit, very sophisticated and chic!
I love this shirt. And I love blue and black. Enjoy the snow!
The snow in Kansas today is very wet in comparison to earlier this winter. This morning we had snowflakes that seemed to be at least an inch across. Insanity!
Regardless, this outfit is lovely on you. I wouldn't have guessed it was a high-waist skirt. I guess waistlines are everywhere these days, in the empire-aftermath.
Love how you styled it here!!! You remix it in ways that I would've NEVER thought of. I was just stumped with it. I can't wiat to see what else you come up with!
I love that it's snowing in the pic :)

oooo LOVE the way this outfit looks on you - so flattering! and i am pretty much loving anything with a black and navy combo so it's a win all around. the snow is just the cherry on top (of course, i say that as a southerner who thinks of snow as a luxury and not a daily annoyance haha)
The snow adds such a romantic touch to your pictures. Great outfit!
that shirt looks perfect with the black skirt!! :)love your styling here with the color palette.
You look really cute and effortless.
oh dear, the snow added something really special to this picture and we can see your courage. taking pictures outside during winter must be something really hard to do :P
I loved this shirt and the layiring. Have a great weekend!
Love the outfit! I'm also hibernating today!
ah, the troubles of being your own photographer, which is precisely why i haven't done a remix post in a while. sigh.
anyway, i like your outfit a lot!
