Today is the first day of my last semester of coursework. To celebrate my last first day of classes, I did a classic nerd look--white button-down and sweater vest and argyle socks--and took a picture on the front porch, like my mother did for every first day of school for twelve years.
It's pretty chilly today and I'm starting to ride my bicycle to school again--brrr! After a month of pleasure reading and laziness, I'm having a little trouble getting up early and hopping on my bike in below freezing weather.
But the fact that it's the first day of classes galvanizes me, as it always has.
I'm a bike-riding bookworm in DC trying to make better use of a sometimes-vanilla closet. You can read a little more about this blog
